        Hello, I'm Jane Finch.  UK Young Movers Chairwoman

Welcome to the UK Young Movers Website and Thank You for taking the time to look around.

I am delighted and honoured to be the current UK Young Movers Chairwoman and am really look forward to the next couple of years while I will be in the Chair.

I believe that the young people in our industry should be nurtured and given responsibility and training so they can gain the experience and knowledge to become experts within the Moving Industry.  We believe that networking together and connecting with others from within the industry is one of the best ways of finding out new information, techniques and experience to expand ourselves and grow within the industry.

Young people have the power to create and be innovative.  We have a different view on life and have had to deal with new challenges.  We have a different perspective and have the power to invent new possibilities for our industry....

I believe that UK Young Movers are the future leaders of our Industry who will be making a difference for years to come.

Over the next few months we are organising some really exciting networking events including a Christmas Boat Trip along the Thames in London with a Soul and R&B Disco.  You will have the opportunity to get to know others from within the industry, network for business, make long term friendships and generally have some fun!

If this is a success we will possibly be taking it up north to the Manchester area next Summer 2008, where I hope it will be a really great opportunity to network with old and new friends from within the industry up there as well.

We also have some exciting plans for next year, with seminars and even a conference, but we'll let you know about them closer to the time.....
